OAKLAND — A 22-year-old Oakland man was convicted of homicide and assault for killing a 40-year-old father of 4 whereas making an attempt to shoot a theft sufferer, court docket data present.
Donovan Johnson was convicted on Jan. 26 of second-degree homicide and assault with a firearm within the loss of life of Chrystian Valdez Negrete. He faces a sentence of 15 years to life in jail for the homicide conviction alone.
