Winter Artwork Camp (Ages 9–12): Afro-Atlantic Histories & Neighborhood

College students will discover group by means of artworks within the exhibition Afro-Atlantic Histories and can create their very own artwork impressed by the folks and actions in their very own group on this blended media class. With artist Eszter Delgado.
This program will happen indoors on LACMA’s campus, Monday–Friday, January 2–6.
In regards to the Teacher
Eszter Delgado is a Los Angeles–primarily based artist, educator, activist, and curator. She obtained her BFA from Cal Poly Humboldt with a Minor in Multi-Cultural Research and MFA from Claremont Graduate College. Eszter has taught artwork throughout California, from the Hoopa and Yurok reservations in Northern California to the southern U.S.-Mexico border and in Maui, Hawai’i, on the Kamehameha Faculty. Her work responds to cultural and societal points and has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Eszter has participated in meals and water drops close to the U.S.-Mexico Border, which knowledgeable her most up-to-date set up venture.
Masks are strongly beneficial indoors for everybody. Be taught extra about all the museum’s well being and security protocols.
Pre-registration is required for all courses. Enrollment for Winter Artwork Camp begins on November 16, 2022, at 10 am PST.
